Here is the theme song for the tv show “True Blood”. Jace Everett – Bad things. Kind of hard to find, don’t you think?

I think “I die”(d) a little on the inside when I watched the season premiere of “The Rachel Zoe Project”. The only things I did get out of watching was the sudden urge to buy new shoes and sickness towards botox.
Who is Rachel Zoe you ask? She’s a stylist for the stars if you ask Bravo. For me, she’s that lady whoose only lines are “I DIE!” and “bananas” or something, I wasn’t paying that much atention anyway. And the point of this reality show is to shamelessly promote her upcoming jewelry/handbag/sunglasses/jeans/I dunno line while rudely ripping off “The Devil Wears Prada”.
Besides I die, other colorful characters include: Taylor, the overly bitchy assistant who does the thinking for Zoe, Roger, Zoe’s husband, and Brad, the new guy, who spent most of the time crying like a little bitch because everyone else kept picking on him.
In this first episode, much to our discontent, we don’t get to see them sing “If I only had a brain”. Instead, what we do get is a lot of people talking on their cell phones, buying clothes and styling an actress who I never heard of – Joy Bryant (after looking her up, I found out she had amazing roles like “woman at web” in Spiderman2).
Oh, and we also get to see Michael Kors in something else than project runway. And that’s pretty much it. Expected more?

I was so excited to see this episode ever since the first one aired. Basically, what I can say about the show so far is: beautifully written and directed, love the acting, love the story. Pretty much the best series HBO ever had. Overstatement? I think not.
Since the second episode hasn’t aired yet, I’m pretty sure that all I’ll be writing from now on are spoilers, so if you still wanna find out what happens …
Last time we saw Sookie she was being kicked around -literally- by the Rattrays, and this episode picks up exactly from that scene. Don’t tell me you didn’t expect Bill to come to the rescue! Still, the only way to heal Sookie is by letting her drink some of his blood, giving her the power to heal herself (pretty much like Claire, the indestructible cheerleader, blonde hair and all), as well as several other abilities (hightened senses, telepathic link with Bill, and *ahem* increased libido).
Speaking of the Stackhouses, Sookie’s brother Jason gets out of jail, as the lacked any real evidence of him killing Maudette, so pretty much he just has sex all throughout the whole episode. Much to Tara’s dissapointment, who keeps making too subtle hints for Jason’s IQ apparently.
This episode has a whole lot of scenes that allow us to find more about the characters; for example we get to learn a lot about Sookie’s past, how she discovered her power and how she can’t really control it: this explains why she feels so much relief when with Bill. The scenes are really well shot, and the overall feel is great, very eerie.
I’m glad the Rattrays are finally out of the picture, thanks to hurricane Bill (eh, you’ll find out what I mean after watching), but I’m still confused about that dog that hangs around Merlotte’s. It’s torture having to wait from week to week to find out what happens!
The episode started out very strong, got a bit boring towards the end, then got interesting again – yep, another cliffhanger! What can I say? Maybe Tara was right when she said Sookie is just looking for trouble, as she comes face to face with a not so friendly looking character.

She’s back (on itv at least)! The season premiere of “Secret Diary Of A Call Girl” was something I was really looking forward to.
So, looks like nothing spectacular happened to our dear Hannah while we were gone, but now she just seems to get into “desperate housewives”-ish sort of trouble. After sleeping with a politician, she finds herself blackmailed by a journalist who threatens to expose her line of work. Some new characters are introduced this season, Alex (Callum Blue – “The Tudors”, “As If”, “Dead Like Me”) and Bambi, an aspiring call girl.
Looks like Hannah’s gonna get a boyfriend this season, but will she be able to pull it off? I mean she even has problem socializing with her relatives, the two main conversation starters being relationships and work, what can shee really say? Seems like the sow is focusing more on the not-so-bright side of leading a double life.
Not that much you can really say about a 20 minute episode, is there? I have to admit, I’m a sucker for those british dramas where the characters talk to you (like “As If”), so I have to keep watching!

If you just can’t wait ’till next week and you think you can handle some spoilers, here’s the promo for the second episode of True Blood. Guess why it’s entitled “The First Taste”. >:)
Clip and thoughts:
Well looks like the dog is more into licking Sookie’s face than we thought. Jason is being acused for a crime he claims had nothing to do with, and apparently the only way Bill can save Sookie is by turning her into a vampire? What do you think will happen next?
UPDATE: The review for the second episode is up! You can see it by clicking here!
